UCL and the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment (GEE)

The Burbano Lab is part or GEE, a reserach department that provides an exciting research environment that includes scientist working on evolutionary, population and environmental biology, genetics, systems biology, theoretical biology and human genetics and evolution. The Burbano Lab is part of the Centre for Life's Origins and Evolution (CLOE), is a member of the UCL Centre for Computational Biology, and actively participate in the academic activities of other institutes such as the UCL Genetics Institute (UGI).

Alliance EvolGen

The Burbano Lab closely interacts with the research group led by Dr Aida Andrés (UGI). The Andrés and Burbano Labs have a shared interest in evolutionary, population and quantitative genomics and profit each other from working on different biological systems. We have a joint weekly group meeting, where we discuss our current and future research projects and present current literature.
